It’s Nice to Meet You!
Sheryl Flaherty, Accountant
Hello! I’m Sheryl. It’s nice to meet you! I know talking about your finances with others can be hard, so I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. First, the credentials. I have a BA in Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. In 1995 I earned a Master of Business Taxation from the University of Minnesota. Throughout my career I’ve worked in a variety of settings: from corporate firms, to smaller firms, and with entrepreneurs just like you. And you? Well, you’re my favorite.
I know entrepreneurs have big dreams and are so passionate about the work they do. But I also know the financial side of things can be paralyzing. I love helping people just like you focus on what you do best—your passion—by helping you manage your business finances like a pro.
What am I passionate about outside of finance? Faith and family. My husband, Mark, proposed at the Keukenhof Gardens just outside of Amsterdam in April 1997. We were married seven weeks later and our life together has always been an adventure. We have two children—Madelyn and Sean—and one (but sometimes he feels like more!) dog, Tino. When I’m not working, you can find me spending time with family, training my dog, scrapbooking, or spending time with my faith community.
